Little, energetic and alone. That's how I see him moving rapidly among clusters of flowers sipping nectar. With equal facility in bases of long tubular flowers it pokes holes to sip nectar. It hangs upside down with ease while it feeds. When I come closer it becomes tame and fearless. It behaves like a hummingbird.
