Black-and-white Warbler

Mniotilta varia

A beautiful conspicuous streaked black and white little bird. It forages by hitching like a creeper along large bare trunks and limbs where it rapidly searches both sides and gleans insects from bark surface. It is marvellous to see such a small black and white  little round moving along the limbs.
