Blue-capped Tanager

Thraupis cyanocephala

It is a common resident in the area (Andes) where I stayed but I saw it only twice. Mostly it stayes high in trees and I was glad when I got a glimpse while the handsome tanagar went through some low fruiting shrubs. It doesn't like to be observed I think, because it stayed behind foliage where it looked for insects. When just one short moment it made an appearence my camera clicked.
