Blackburnian Warbler

Dendroica fusca

It's getting dark, a small bird suddenly forages alone in front of me in a tree. I cannot see it very well and spite of the little light I follow it carefully. It hover-gleans tiny insects from leaves and chases flushed prey in brief sallies. It goes from tree to tree and I keep on following it. Then I see its bright pumpkin orange throat patch. And before it disappears I quick make some photos.
