A beautiful small black and red bird that's how I see this celebrated little jewel.The male known as Hijo del Sol ("Son of the sun"), is perched on an open branch. I few minutes later I see the female. She is perched on a fence. The male showed me his lady otherwise I woudn't have found her. They seem almost out of place among the dry and scrubby vegetation.
