A popular cagebird but I prefer to see this vivacious little finch in nature. It loves companionship. Gathers in small to large flocks. Scatters over open grassy places to feed on weed and grass seeds. But it flushes up to bushes or covers at slightest hint of danger. That's why it was rather difficult to make a good photo.
