Welcome to my BirdSite

As a young child I was already interested in photography. On the age of seven I got my first plastic camera and I remember that I felt very proud. When I got older I started to use a Canon and until now I still do. Nowadays we can speak about “me and my Canon” because I never leave the house without it.

Several years ago birds began to have a great fascination for me and to observe and photograph these beautiful creatures became my great passion. With this site I would like to inspire people to feel the same that I feel and to increase their interest in birds. Of course during the years of work some people have been generous with their time and expertise and I owe them a debt of gratitude.

I hope you enjoy looking at the photos as much as I did making them.
